This is a personal portfolio. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no embedded third-party content. Personal data is only processed when the website is delivered to your browser and when you send a message through the contact form.

Hosting and server log files

This website and my email are hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers in the European Union. IONOS processes data on my behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

When you visit the website, the server automatically records technical information that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring page, and browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically by IONOS after a short period. I do not combine this data with other sources.

Contact form and email

When you use the contact form, your name, email address, organization (optional) and message are sent to me by email and stored in my mailbox at IONOS. When you email me directly, I receive the same kind of information. I use it only to answer your request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To prevent spam, the form also stores an irreversibly hashed version of your IP address together with the time of sending. It is used only to limit the number of messages per hour and is deleted after one hour.

I delete messages once your request has been dealt with, unless we stay in touch or the law requires me to keep them.

Fonts, videos and external links

All fonts, images and videos are served from this website’s own server. No data is sent to font services or video platforms when you view a page. Links to YouTube, social media and other websites are plain links: data is only transferred to those providers if you click a link, and from then on their privacy policies apply.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or similar technologies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal data I hold about you (Art. 15)
• have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17)
• restrict its processing (Art. 18)
• receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)

To exercise any of these rights, email webmaster@ben-q.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.

I will update this notice if the website changes in a way that affects your data. The current version is always available on this page.
